Genuine OEM Volkswagen Heat Exchanger, part number 7H0819032. This component, commonly known as a heater core, is integral to the vehicle's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. It is positioned within the HVAC housing, typically behind the dashboard, where it transfers heat from the engine's hot coolant to the incoming cabin air. This process provides warm air for passenger comfort and defrosting. Using a genuine OEM heat exchanger ensures proper fitment within the HVAC unit, efficient heat transfer, and leak-free operation, which is critical for effective climate control and preventing coolant loss.
